Kylie Minogue performs at the annual Qantas Spirit of Australia Event

Australian singer Kylie Minogue performed exclusively for more than 150 Australian guests at the Qantas Spirit of Australia event at Mr C. Hotel in Los Angeles this evening.

Now in its third year, the event forms part of the G’Day USA calendar, and is part of Qantas’ commitment to promoting Australia in the United States and celebrates successful and talented Australians to a global audience.

Kylie performed four songs for the private event: Love at First Sight, Locomotion, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and I Still Call Australia Home.

Special guests included:

Qantas Ambassador John Travolta, Tina Arena, Russell Hitchcock, Sam Sparro, Robert Luketic, Phillip Noyce, Joel Edgerton, Jacki Weaver, Ursula Brooks, Gracie Otto, Matt Le Nevez, Daniel MacPherson, Zoe Ventoura, Osher Gunsberg, Jason Dundas, Laura Csortan, Tammin Sursok and Pip Edwards.

Following the announcement that Qantas is bringing Modern Family to Australia the event was also attended by Modern Family co-creators Chris Lloyd and Steve Levitan, and cast members Ty Burrell (Phil), Ariel Winter (Alex), Eric Stonestreet (Cam) and Nolan Gould (Luke).

Kylie Minogue’s performance follows outstanding performances by talented Australian musician Keith Urban and Iva Davies, lead for Australian music legends Icehouse.
