Qantas will increase the number of flights it operates between Singapore and Melbourne from seven to 10 per week, as it continues to adjust its network to meet growing demand from Asia.
The three additional services will operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, effective from 29 April 2016, with the flight codes QF37 and QF38. Like Qantas’ existing Singapore-Melbourne services, they will be operated by Airbus A330 aircraft.
Last month Qantas announced that it would upgauge three of its weekly Hong Kong – Melbourne flights from an A330 to a Boeing 747 from next April. The A330 aircraft freed up by that change will operate the additional Singapore –Melbourne which go on sale today.
