QantasLink launches schedule for 2012 Hotham winter season

Today QantasLink announced its schedule between Mt Hotham and Sydney for the 2012 ski season.

QantasLink services between Sydney and Hotham Alpine Resort will operate from 29 June to 9 September, giving alpine fans easy access to one of Australia’s most popular ski resorts.

Qantas Executive Manager Regional Airlines Group Narendra Kumar, said QantasLink had operated flights to Mt Hotham since 2000 and was pleased to provide the service again in 2012.

“This year’s Mt Hotham QantasLink schedule will offer 100 flights and has been timed to create seamless connections for customers who commence their journey to the Victorian High Country on a Qantas international or domestic service.”

“QantasLink’s Mt Hotham flights also make it easy for customers to dash away to the snow for the weekend, extend a holiday break or visit nearby destinations such as Dinner Plain and Falls Creek.”

Hotham Skiing Company General Manager, Ms Belinda Trembath said, ‘It’s great to once again have this QantasLink service which makes Hotham the most accessible alpine resort in Australia. The additional Sunday flights will benefit our guests who wish to make the most of their day on the slopes
or sneak in a weekend escape from Sydney.’

The QantasLink service to Mt Hotham will operate on selected Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, starting at four return services per week and building to seven per week during the August peak period.

QantasLink is offering a special fare of $169 one-way, including taxes and charges*, for sale from 13 March to 26 March 2012, for travel throughout the 2012 ski season.
